About Toledo-Towing.com

A towing and roadside-assistance request line for Toledo, Ohio. Calls and requests are passed to independent local towing providers.

What this site is

Toledo-Towing.com is a towing and roadside-assistance request service for Toledo, Ohio and the nearby communities of Maumee, Perrysburg, Sylvania, Oregon, Rossford, Holland, Northwood and Ottawa Hills.

We are not a towing company. We do not own tow trucks, employ drivers or run a storage yard. When you call (419) 329-4502 or send a request, it goes to an independent towing or roadside provider that serves the Toledo area. That provider sets the price, sends the truck, does the work and takes payment.

How a request works

1. You call or send the request form with your location, vehicle, destination and the help you need.
2. Your request goes to a provider, who confirms what is needed, the type of truck, an arrival estimate and the price.
3. You agree to the price before any work starts. Ask for a written or texted total if you want one.
4. The provider does the job and takes payment directly. Ask which payment methods they accept.

If something goes wrong with a tow from private property (a parking lot tow you did not ask for), Ohio law sets fee caps and gives you specific rights; thePublic Utilities Commission of Ohiotakes complaints. See car towed in Toledo.

What we will and won't tell you

• We won't publish arrival times, prices or "24/7" promises that no provider has confirmed in writing.
• We won't post reviews, ratings or testimonials we did not collect from real customers.
• We will tell you when someone else is the right call: 911 in an emergency, #677 on the Ohio Turnpike, ODOT's free Freeway Safety Patrol on covered interstates.

How the guides are researched

Every guide lists its sources. We rely on primary sources wherever we can: the Ohio Revised Code and Administrative Code, the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission, ODOT, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, PUCO, the City of Toledo and Toledo Police, NHTSA, the National Weather Service and vehicle manufacturers' owner's manuals. Each page shows when it was last updated. Laws and fees change, so confirm anything critical with the agency named.

Photos on the site are illustrations of typical roadside situations, not pictures of a specific provider's trucks or staff. Area maps are drawn from U.S. Census Bureau TIGER/Line data.
